This first shot is the clan getting ready to chomp down on pizza from the local grocery...way good it was!!! You are looking at the inside of a (circa 1940's) Quonset hut. Notice the sloping wall? The cottage looks like a tin can on it's side. It's a great place to be in a thunder storm! The rain sounds amazing on the roof!! Above Mal's head is an old photo of Long Lake.
Here we are in Leland. This is the fourth summer photo we have taken, in this spot, with the three of us. We love it here.
We had a chance to get onto the lake and tool around in a pontoon and Mallie got to drive! That's my honey above, looking over "his" lake.
This lovely photo is a summer dinner table. Very Martha-ish, eh? This is at my hubby's cousins' home just down the lake from us. This 1880's house has a lovely enclosed porch perfect for family dinners and late night games. We had a great dinner of country ham and all the fixings. Later, we played
Sigh. It's hard to leave the lake.
